About the Role
Scout Motors is seeking a Vehicle EE System Validation Engineer to help ensure our electrified and digitized vehicle systems meet performance, safety, and reliability targets. In this role, you’ll support validation planning and execution across our powertrain and vehicle electronics, helping bring rugged capability and modern innovation to drivers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute validation strategies for vehicle electrical and electronic (EE) systems
- Create, maintain, and review test plans, procedures, and validation documentation
- Coordinate with engineering teams to define requirements and verify system behavior against targets
- Support lab, bench, and vehicle-level testing activities, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Analyze test results, track findings, and contribute to root-cause and corrective action
- Communicate status, risks, and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience with EE system validation, test development, or verification in automotive or similar environments
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architectures and system-level behavior
- Proficiency with test/validation tooling and data analysis (tools vary by program)
- Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into measurable test objectives
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical collaboration
