About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Vice President to lead General Counsel responsibilities, own the People/HR function, and provide operational oversight for our international subsidiaries. This full-time role is based on-site at our headquarters in San Jose, California.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s legal leader, advising senior management and the Board on governance and strategic legal matters
- Oversee contract negotiation, IP strategy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk mitigation
- Lead legal transactions and support corporate initiatives across the business
- Own and drive HR strategy, processes, and scalable people infrastructure for a fast-growing venture-backed technology company
- Provide operational oversight for international subsidiaries and branch offices (excluding R&D and sales), including direct or dotted-line reporting relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior legal executive (e.g., General Counsel or equivalent leadership role)
- Strong background in corporate governance, contract management, and IP/regulatory matters
- Demonstrated leadership of HR strategy and organizational development in a high-growth environment
- Experience supporting multi-region operations, including cross-border compliance and stakeholder management
- Ability to partner effectively with executives and the Board while managing risk and priorities
