About the Role
Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Wastewater Maintenance Technician to support operations at a wastewater treatment facility in Greenville, Mississippi. You’ll report to the Maintenance Manager and help keep equipment running reliably, safely, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance activities that support facility reliability, safety, and compliance
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, chemical feed systems, electrical components, instrumentation, and related equipment
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and complete corrective repairs on mechanical and related systems
- Support ongoing efforts to reduce downtime and maintain strong operational readiness
Requirements
- Experience with industrial maintenance or mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with wastewater treatment equipment and maintenance practices
- Ability to follow safety procedures and meet regulatory expectations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
