About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for a Whole Vehicle Test Requirements and Validation Engineer to support body interior development. In this role, you’ll help translate vehicle needs into clear test requirements and ensure our body interior systems are validated to meet performance, durability, and quality expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test requirements for body interior systems as part of whole-vehicle validation
- Define validation strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria aligned with program goals
- Partner with engineering teams to verify requirements traceability from concept through validation
- Support test execution by reviewing setups, interpreting results, and driving closure of findings
- Document validation outcomes and maintain clear technical records for audits and program reviews
Requirements
- Experience creating test requirements and validation plans for automotive systems
- Strong understanding of requirements traceability and verification/validation principles
- Ability to analyze test data and translate results into actionable engineering feedback
- Proficiency with common engineering documentation and collaboration tools
- Comfort working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the vehicle development lifecycle
