About the Role
PistonPay is a payments company focused on transforming how fleets handle fuel payments. As an early-stage team backed by leading investors, we’re building the financial backbone for the trucking industry. We’re looking for an Account Executive to own and close deals across a broader gas station network.
You’ll guide opportunities from the first product demo through signed contracts, partnering closely with our founders, SDRs, and marketing to build a strong pipeline and refine our go-to-market approach for one of the most fuel-intensive segments in trucking.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from first demo to contract signature
- Build and manage pipeline in collaboration with SDR and marketing teams
- Develop and execute strategies for selling into the OTR gas station network
- Partner with founders to shape sales process, messaging, and deal qualification
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline health and forecast
Requirements
- Experience in B2B outbound and closing deals
- Strong ability to run demos, handle objections, and negotiate contracts
- Comfort working in an early-stage environment with evolving processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with sales tools and CRM systems
