About the Role
We’re seeking an Accounting Clerk to help keep our financial records accurate and current. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day bookkeeping activities, help maintain accounts payable and receivable, and assist senior team members with reporting and special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Use bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks) to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Receive and record payments including cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank statements
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, purchases, invoice preparation, and tracking overdue accounts
- Prepare and update financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other supporting documentation
- Provide updates to management and support cross-department needs when requests arise
Requirements
- Experience in an accounting or bookkeeping support role
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile records accurately
- Comfort supporting payroll and invoice workflows
