About the Role
Success Academy is expanding and building a high-performing network of public charter schools across New York and Florida. We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations, strengthen the accuracy of reporting, and help develop a team of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee key accounting functions to ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and compliant
- Manage and support a team of four accounting professionals through coaching and professional development
- Co-lead the team’s workflows, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support timely and reliable month-end and reporting deliverables
Requirements
- Proven experience managing accounting operations and delivering accurate financial reporting
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience coaching and developing team members
- Strong attention to detail and integrity in handling financial data
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
