About the Role
We’re seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer to lead and support quality assurance efforts for client projects in an Agile/Scrum environment. This role requires strong ownership, the ability to work with minimal guidance, and a focus on continuous improvement across testing practices, tools, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support QA programs and processes aligned to the QA strategy and project deliverables
- Provide feedback and coaching on artifacts created during requirements and analysis phases
- Author test cases and scripts, then execute tests to validate functionality
- Guide testing efforts through coaching, mentoring, code reviews, and process improvements
- Oversee automation test suites to ensure they are maintained and remain operational
- Create accurate estimates for QA work, including test design/scripting, test data management, execution, and defect correction
- Use core quality metrics to drive measurable quality improvements
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support Center of Excellence (CoE) activities that improve how testing is delivered
Requirements
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams
- Strong skills in test case design, scripting, and test execution
- Proven ability to coach and mentor others, including through code reviews
- Experience maintaining automation test suites and improving test frameworks or tooling
- Ability to estimate QA efforts and manage test data effectively
- Familiarity with quality metrics and using them to improve outcomes
