Within the Compute Silicon & Manufacturing Engineering (CSME) organization, you’ll help validate system-on-chip (SoC) hardware to ensure reliability, performance, and manufacturability for large-scale cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute SoC hardware validation for plug-and-play (PnP) and functional use cases
- Develop and run validation plans, test strategies, and verification workflows
- Analyze results, triage failures, and drive root-cause investigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve coverage and reduce escape risk
- Document test findings and communicate status, risks, and next steps
Requirements
- Experience in SoC hardware validation and functional verification
- Strong understanding of hardware bring-up, test execution, and failure analysis
- Ability to create repeatable validation processes and interpret debug data
- Working knowledge of validation tooling and lab workflows
- Clear communication skills for collaborating across engineering disciplines
Benefits
- Opportunity to work on infrastructure that supports Microsoft’s global cloud services
- Collaborative engineering environment with high-impact work
- Professional growth through exposure to modern silicon and manufacturing challenges
