About the Role
Columbia is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Palletizer Division. In this role, you’ll assemble machinery each day using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions, supporting factory automation solutions with quality-built equipment.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily assembly of machinery based on blueprints, schematics, and verbal direction
- Perform large assembly work across pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Read and interpret hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics to ensure correct installation
- Use intermediate electrical knowledge and volt meter skills to support electrical construction
- Follow electrical prints and continue assembling components accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Ability to read hydraulic and/or pneumatic schematics
- Intermediate understanding of electrical systems and volt meters
- Experience interpreting electrical prints and applying them to assembly work
