About the Role
Glacier is seeking an Assembly Technician / Build Technician for an onsite, temporary assignment in our San Francisco (Dogpatch) office. You’ll help assemble custom sorting robots that support our mission to reduce landfill waste and lower environmental impact.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and build custom sorting robot components and subassemblies
- Support build processes according to work instructions and quality standards
- Perform troubleshooting and basic adjustments during assembly
- Work day shifts onsite, including occasional nights and weekends as needed
- Travel occasionally (about 25%) to support installs, testing, or field needs
Requirements
- Hands-on experience assembling mechanical/electromechanical equipment
- Comfort working onsite with occasional travel (up to ~25%)
- Ability to follow documented procedures and meet quality expectations
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset
Benefits
- Pay range of $70,000–$85,000 annually (prorated for the 3-month contract)
