About the Role
ESAero is looking for a detail-oriented Configuration Management Specialist to manage documentation, tracking, and control of technical and operational configurations. You’ll help ensure engineering, systems, software, and hardware changes are properly recorded, assessed, and maintained in line with internal standards and compliance expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute configuration management plans for engineering programs
- Review, route, and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to ensure proper documentation, review, approval, and cross-team communication
- Lead and support configuration control activities, including configuration control board and technical review board meetings
- Coordinate with Engineering, IT, QA, Manufacturing, and Operations to maintain effective configuration management practices
- Ensure configuration documentation remains accurate, current, and accessible to stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple change items
- Experience with configuration management processes and change control workflows
- Ability to collaborate across engineering and operations teams and communicate decisions clearly
- Comfort working with technical documentation and maintaining traceability
