About the Role
CLS is seeking an Assistant Vice President to strengthen business risk management and control frameworks. In this role, you will help ensure that risk is identified, measured, and managed effectively across key business activities supporting the firm’s global FX settlement infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of business risk and control processes
- Assist in monitoring and assessing control effectiveness and adherence to internal policies
- Coordinate risk and control activities across relevant stakeholders and business teams
- Contribute to risk assessments, issue management, and remediation tracking
- Prepare clear documentation and updates for internal governance and oversight
- Partner with compliance, operations, and other control functions to promote a strong risk culture
Requirements
- Experience in business risk, controls, or a related governance function
- Strong understanding of risk and control concepts and how they apply in financial services
- Ability to analyze control environments and identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and influencing stakeholders
- Proficiency with documentation, tracking, and reporting processes
