About the Role
Esprow is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our professional services business in the global capital markets space. You’ll help exchanges, banks, and brokers tackle complex challenges across API and protocol testing, matching engine and trading system validation, and certification and integration support for electronic trading environments.
This consultative role blends proactive opportunity sourcing with hands-on engagement development—turning customer needs into clear, compelling service proposals supported by our engineering expertise and technology platform.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for professional services related to electronic trading testing, certification, and integration
- Engage with exchanges, banks, and brokers to understand technical requirements and business goals
- Shape and present service proposals, including scope, approach, and expected outcomes
- Partner with internal engineering teams to structure delivery plans for client engagements
- Support sales cycles from initial discovery through proposal and project kickoff
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and expand account opportunities over time
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, consultative selling, or account growth in technology or financial services
- Familiarity with capital markets and/or electronic trading infrastructure (e.g., APIs, protocols, validation, certification, integration)
- Strong ability to translate technical challenges into business-ready proposals
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with technical and executive stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and delivery teams
