About the Role
PistonPay is a payments company building the financial backbone for fleets and the trucks that keep the economy moving. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll run high-velocity “blitz” outbound campaigns focused on specific segments and priorities—helping us generate pipeline quickly and efficiently.
You’ll be the first point of contact for many prospects, handling outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound interest, and booking discovery calls for Account Executives.
Responsibilities
- Execute blitz-style outbound campaigns to targeted accounts within PistonPay’s gas-station network
- Prospect, initiate conversations, and qualify leads based on defined criteria
- Convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities
- Schedule discovery calls for Account Executives and ensure accurate lead handoff
- Continuously improve outreach messaging, targeting, and follow-up cadence
Requirements
- Experience in outbound prospecting and/or sales development
- Comfort working in a high-velocity, metrics-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to qualify quickly
- Experience using CRM and sales tools (or willingness to ramp quickly)
- Self-starter mindset with a builder’s approach to improving processes
