About the Role
Valar Atomics is seeking a Business Intelligence Systems Manager to design, build, and manage the data and reporting systems that support the growth of our commercial projects. You’ll help ensure teams have timely, reliable insight into schedules, costs, risks, documentation, engineering inputs, licensing needs, and procurement activity.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for business intelligence systems supporting commercial project execution
- Design and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting workflows for cross-functional stakeholders
- Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., project schedules, cost systems, documents, and engineering inputs)
- Improve data quality, governance, and consistency across systems
- Partner with project, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance usability and reliability
Requirements
- Experience managing BI or analytics systems in a project-driven environment
- Strong skills in data modeling and building reporting/dashboard solutions
- Proficiency with SQL and common BI/data tooling
- Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver measurable outcomes
- Solid understanding of data governance and quality practices
