About the Role
The Capital Area Online Learning Association (CAOLA) is seeking a Program Assistant to support partnering school entities and Intermediate Units. You’ll help guide students and families enrolling in online courses, provide program information, and assist with day-to-day program operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide program guidance to school partners on course offerings, timelines, policies, vendor licensing, and effective online learning practices
- Support planning and implementation of CAOLA initiatives, including conferences, network meetings, and marketing efforts
- Meet with assigned schools to advise students and coordinate support related to online course participation
- Help maintain smooth program operations and support communication between CAOLA, school partners, and families
Requirements
- Experience working with schools, students, or families in an educational or program support setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear guidance on program processes
- Comfort supporting online learning environments and related program policies
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and assist with events and outreach
Benefits
- Salary range: $38,320–$47,900 (depending on experience)
- Monday–Friday schedule (7.5 hours/day) and 190 days per year
