About the Role
Join our team in Falls Church, VA as a Commercial Construction Project Engineer. You’ll help plan, coordinate, and support commercial and institutional construction projects by partnering with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal office staff. The goal: keep work organized, moving on schedule, and aligned with budget and quality expectations.
This role is a strong fit for someone with commercial construction experience who wants to grow toward broader project management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage key project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, quality records, safety documents, and financial updates
- Support project planning and scheduling by tracking deliverables and helping teams stay aligned
- Assist with communication across the jobsite, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Help monitor project status and support efforts to keep timelines and budgets on track
- Contribute to documentation accuracy and completeness to support smooth project execution
Requirements
- Experience in commercial construction (commercial and/or institutional projects preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with field teams, subcontractors, and office staff
- Comfort working with construction documentation and project records

- Starting salary from $73,000 per year (higher based on experience)
