About the Role
Ethics Administration supports the Louisiana Board of Ethics by administering and enforcing Louisiana’s conflicts of interest, campaign finance disclosure, and lobbyist disclosure and registration requirements. The Compliance Investigator 3/4 conducts investigations and performs legal research to help ensure compliance with these laws.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations related to ethics, campaign finance, and lobbyist disclosure requirements.
- Perform legal research to support enforcement actions and case development.
- Gather, review, and organize evidence and documentation relevant to inquiries.
- Assist with enforcement-related processes in coordination with internal teams.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally throughout the investigative process.
Requirements
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to analyze information accurately.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of legal research and investigative methods.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
