About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American brand, bringing heritage to life through electrification, digital innovation, and American engineering. We’re looking for a Concept Architect (Top Hat) to help shape compelling vehicle concepts and translate creative intent into clear, buildable direction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine vehicle concept architectures that align with brand, user needs, and product strategy
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and program teams to ensure concepts are technically feasible
- Translate high-level creative goals into structured requirements, interfaces, and concept documentation
- Support concept reviews and iterations across powertrain and system planning
- Maintain clarity of concept decisions and communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong experience with concept architecture, system thinking, and early-stage vehicle planning
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex ideas clearly
- Comfort operating in ambiguity during concept development and iteration
- Experience supporting concept reviews, documentation, and stakeholder alignment
