Concept Architect - Top Hat (Onsite)

About the Role

Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American brand—reimagined for today through electrification, digital innovation, and American engineering. We’re looking for a Concept Architect (Top Hat) to help shape compelling vehicle concepts and translate creative vision into clear, buildable direction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine concept-level architectures that align with brand goals, customer needs, and product strategy
• Coordinate concept development across design, engineering, and program stakeholders to ensure consistency and feasibility
• Support the definition of powertrain and system concept requirements, including all-electric and range-extended approaches
• Communicate concept rationale through clear documentation, presentations, and design reviews
• Iterate concepts based on feedback, constraints, and evolving project requirements

Requirements

• Experience working in vehicle concept development, systems architecture, or related automotive design/engineering roles
• Strong ability to translate high-level ideas into structured technical direction
• Comfort collaborating across cross-functional teams and presenting work to stakeholders
• Knowledge of automotive systems and an understanding of EV and/or range-extended powertrain concepts is a plus
