Construction Superintendent (Mechanical) - Full-Time Onsite

About the Role

SpaceXAI is seeking a hands-on Construction Superintendent (Mechanical) to oversee mechanical contractors and crews building advanced mechanical infrastructure for our data centers. You’ll operate in a small, highly motivated team with a flat structure where initiative, clear communication, and strong prioritization directly impact delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical contractors and field crews to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to spec
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities and progress tracking for mechanical scope
• Verify installation quality and alignment with project requirements and documentation
• Communicate status, risks, and next steps clearly with internal stakeholders and contractors
• Support efficient site execution by resolving issues and prioritizing tasks

Requirements

• Experience supervising mechanical construction activities (contractors, crews, and field execution)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share accurate updates and knowledge concisely
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
• Commitment to safety and quality expectations on the job site
