About the Role
Ryder is seeking a Continuous Improvement Logistics Manager (Engineering) to lead process improvements across multiple customer locations within our Supply Chain Solutions division. This high-impact role manages a team of 5–6 engineers and helps drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop 5–6 engineers supporting continuous improvement efforts across 4–5 customer sites
- Drive engineering and logistics process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability
- Partner with customer stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and track results
- Support automation-focused improvement initiatives where applicable
- Communicate progress, outcomes, and recommendations to internal leadership
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in logistics continuous improvement and/or engineering leadership
- Experience managing engineers or similar technical teams
- Strong understanding of operational processes and improvement methodologies
- Automation experience is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while coordinating across multiple locations
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $110,000–$120,000 based on experience
- Bonus opportunity of 20%
- Salary paid twice per month (exempt)
