Controller (Finance) | Onsite in Indianapolis, IN

About the Role

ALOM is seeking an experienced Controller to help lead the financial operations that keep our global supply chain innovation running smoothly. Based in Indianapolis, this role will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen reporting, controls, and decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting standards
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and key performance metrics
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for leadership and department stakeholders
• Coordinate with external partners including auditors and tax advisors as needed
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, visibility, and compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting and financial leadership, including close and reporting ownership
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Experience building or enhancing internal controls and accounting processes
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
