About the Role
We’re seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to help integrate security into systems engineering and software research. You’ll support assessments of cyberspace systems, evaluate potential vulnerabilities, and contribute to new security capabilities across current and target environments.
Responsibilities
- Apply systems administration and troubleshooting skills to support secure operations
- Work with server and client operating systems and related supporting software
- Run vulnerability scans and assess results to identify meaningful security issues
- Analyze vulnerability and configuration data to spot systemic security gaps
- Document how new systems or interfaces affect the current and target security posture
- Install, implement, configure, and provide ongoing support for cybersecurity tools and systems
- Design hardware, operating systems, and application approaches to meet cybersecurity needs
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and interpreting scan findings
- Working knowledge of server and client operating systems
- Ability to troubleshoot systems and supporting software in a security context
- Strong documentation skills for security posture and configuration impacts
- Experience implementing and supporting cybersecurity solutions
