Director, Corporate Finance Operations | Full-Time | Hybrid

About the Role

Scout Motors is seeking a Director of Corporate Finance Operations to lead the finance operations function supporting the company’s corporate finance activities. In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate reporting, efficient processes, and strong controls that enable sound decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve corporate finance operations processes, including planning, forecasting support, and reporting workflows
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to streamline financial operations and strengthen data quality
• Oversee operational finance controls to support compliance, audit readiness, and accurate close processes
• Develop and maintain dashboards, schedules, and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility
• Manage process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and errors
• Lead and mentor finance operations team members, setting clear goals and performance expectations

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in corporate finance operations, finance operations, or a related finance function
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end/quarter-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems and reporting tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across finance and non-finance teams
• Experience with process improvement and operational governance
