Director of Curriculum & Instructional Excellence (K-12) | Hybrid

About the Role

Lead efforts to strengthen teaching and learning across KIPP Texas schools, with an emphasis on campuses in transformation. As a curriculum and instruction expert, you will ensure teachers have the tools, training, and coaching needed to deliver high-quality instruction aligned to adopted materials and state standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a content and curriculum leader for an assigned grade band and subject area
• Build deep expertise in KIPP Texas adopted instructional materials, including Amplify Texas, Amplify ELAR Texas, and HMH Into Literature
• Plan for and support excellent implementation with fidelity, rigor, and alignment to standards
• Design, facilitate, and continuously improve high-quality professional learning for teachers
• Partner with school leaders and instructional coaches to drive consistent instructional practice

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in K-12 curriculum, instruction, and standards-based teaching
• Experience facilitating professional learning and supporting implementation at the school or network level
• Strong instructional coaching skills and the ability to model effective teaching practices
• Deep familiarity with curriculum frameworks and the ability to translate them into classroom execution
