About the Role
The New York Times is seeking a Director, HR Business Partner to partner with leaders, managers, and employees supporting the Global Advertising organization. This role will help drive people priorities across Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Licensing, and related business areas.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, advising on organizational and workforce needs
- Collaborate with managers to build effective talent plans, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support team performance
- Provide guidance on employee relations, talent processes, and people programs in alignment with company policies
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to implement initiatives and ensure consistent execution across the business
- Support change management and organizational development efforts to meet evolving business goals
Requirements
- Experience as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR leadership role supporting business teams
- Strong knowledge of HR programs, employee relations practices, and talent planning
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and deliver practical, business-focused HR solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across multiple functions and stakeholders
