About the Role
PlayMetrics is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company transforming how youth sports organizations operate. We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Human Resources to build and run our people function as we scale. This role reports to the COO and is based in Morrisville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, and talent planning
- Manage compensation and benefits strategy to support growth and retention
- Oversee HRIS and payroll operations, ensuring accurate and compliant administration
- Drive HR compliance across employment practices, policies, and documentation
- Lead performance management processes and support manager effectiveness
- Partner with leadership as a trusted advisor on people strategy and operational execution
Requirements
- Proven HR leadership experience with strong operational execution
- Experience managing recruiting, compensation, HRIS/payroll, and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to build HR processes and scale them with a growing organization
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, PE-backed or startup environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
