About the Role

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Leadership Recruiting to lead executive-level hiring for the Talent Solutions business. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, and partnering with the President and Executive Partners, you will oversee end-to-end leadership search efforts—from identifying and attracting candidates to assessing and hiring senior leaders.

This role recruits and advances leaders across the organization, including Executive Partners, Managing Partners, and line-of-business leadership positions. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to Vaco Sales, Recruiting, HR, and executive leadership to ensure each hire strengthens the leadership bench and aligns with Vaco’s culture, performance expectations, values, and long-term business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, planning, and execution of leadership and executive searches for high-impact roles.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand leadership needs, success profiles, and hiring priorities.
  • Lead candidate sourcing, outreach, screening, and structured assessment processes.
  • Drive hiring decisions with a focus on performance, cultural fit, and long-term organizational alignment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal talent leaders to support talent pipeline development.
  • Manage search processes efficiently to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to business leaders on talent market insights and leadership hiring best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in executive and leadership search, talent acquisition strategy, and senior-level recruiting.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with sales, HR, and executive leadership to drive hiring outcomes.
  • Experience assessing leadership competencies and evaluating candidates against defined success profiles.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Track record of delivering successful leadership hires that support growth and organizational goals.
