About the Role
Fortastra is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to help scale our People team as we build the next generation of autonomous spacecraft. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and executive leaders to attract and hire top technical talent.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from intake through offer and close
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans, and sourcing strategies
- Source, screen, and assess candidates using structured, data-informed methods
- Build strong pipelines for hard-to-fill engineering and autonomy-focused positions
- Coordinate candidate experience across stakeholders while keeping processes efficient and consistent
Requirements
- Proven experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., engineering, software, or related disciplines)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to align recruiting strategy to business needs
- Comfort with structured interviewing and candidate evaluation
- Excellent communication skills and a candidate-first mindset
- Ability to work independently while operating in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment
