About the Role
Join the College of Connected Computing (CCC) at Vanderbilt as the Director of People Operations. Reporting to the Operations Lead, you’ll serve as a strategic HR partner and the primary human resources leader for OGSM staff and faculty. In this role, you’ll help shape the people strategy while supporting the college’s growth during a key build-out phase.
Responsibilities
- Lead human resource management and personnel administration across staff and faculty
- Partner with senior leaders including the Chief of Staff, Dean, and Associate Deans to execute human capital priorities
- Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning in alignment with the college’s OGSM objectives
- Help create a collaborative, inclusive, and enriching environment for faculty and staff
- Drive HR operations that support organizational scaling and operational readiness
Requirements
- Experience in HR leadership or people operations with demonstrated strategic impact
- Strong understanding of HR processes for both staff and faculty populations
- Ability to partner effectively with executive stakeholders and influence outcomes
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to operate in a fast-evolving environment
