About the Role
Join our team as a Disposal Operations Management Trainee (DOMT) and complete a structured developmental program of up to 18 months. You’ll work under the guidance of WM frontline leaders to build a well-rounded understanding of daily landfill disposal operations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a training curriculum and hands-on projects at your assigned landfill location
- Learn and support landfill operations with a focus on safety and compliance
- Develop knowledge of environmental protection and permitting requirements
- Gain exposure to finance and accounting processes related to operations
- Support personnel management activities under supervision
- Build familiarity with heavy equipment operations and site workflows
- Learn how construction and engineering activities connect to landfill operations
- Understand gas and leachate systems and related operational practices
- Provide community and customer service support as part of daily operations
Requirements
