About the Role
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is seeking a Part-Time District Transformation Specialist to support district-level efforts that strengthen capacity and improve outcomes for Colorado’s public school students. This role is not part of the classified personnel system.
Applicants may be residents or non-residents of Colorado; however, the selected incumbent must live in Colorado and complete work for CDE within the state.
Responsibilities
- Support district transformation planning and implementation efforts aligned to state priorities
- Coordinate with district and internal stakeholders to advance capacity-building initiatives
- Help monitor progress and support continuous improvement through district-focused supports
- Assist with program activities that strengthen district systems and support student outcomes
Requirements
- Ability to live in and complete work for CDE within Colorado
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with district partners
- Experience working with education stakeholders and supporting organizational improvement
