Financial Analyst (Plant Finance) | Onsite in LaPorte, IN

About the Role

We’re seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Plant Controller with day-to-day general accounting activities, month-end close coordination, and ongoing financial reporting. In this role, you’ll help improve planning, forecasting, and analysis of operating results while taking ownership of key expense processing and cost-related reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing inventory costs and support cost improvement initiatives
• Process and maintain payroll, fringe expenses, and labor standards
• Administer site fixed assets and support the capital planning process
• Prepare and support internal and external reporting requirements
• Conduct process and operational research, including interviews, observation, process mapping, and surveys

Requirements

• Experience supporting accounting, finance reporting, or cost analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of expense processing, inventory costing, and standard cost concepts
• Ability to support month-end close activities and deliver accurate, timely reporting
• Comfort working with payroll-related data and labor standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
