About the Role
Join the Authorizations and Control Division at NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII as a Financial Management Analyst. In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate financial reporting and strong compliance by analyzing funding status, financial processes, and ERP system functionality to support timely decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare local financial reports showing current and prior year fund expenditures, remaining balances, and amounts available for obligation.
- Analyze financial management processes, related documentation, and data/system performance to ensure alignment with applicable policy and ERP procedures.
- Coordinate with internal finance offices (e.g., disbursing, travel, FIAR, accounting) to resolve funding issues and discrepancies.
- Advise managers on financial policy requirements to support compliance with federal guidance.
- Accept funding documents, post and reconcile General Fund accounts, and respond to data calls and customer inquiries.
Requirements
- Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliation, or financial management analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing documentation and financial data.
- Knowledge of compliance-focused financial processes and enterprise resource planning (ERP) workflows.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders to address discrepancies and improve audit readiness.
