Founder in Residence (CNS Drug Delivery) | Venture Building | Remote Initially

About the Role

We’re looking for entrepreneurially minded scientists to join us as a Founder in Residence and help build a venture focused on systemic drug delivery for brain and CNS diseases. This is a unique opportunity to translate deep technical expertise into venture building, with the goal of making it easier, safer, and more broadly applicable to deliver therapeutics into the brain.

The role is full-time and remote initially, transitioning until venture incorporation and spin-out (targeting end of 2027). Final location will be determined as the venture forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-stage venture development in CNS drug delivery, from technical direction to execution
• Use scientific and engineering expertise to advance systemic delivery approaches for brain and CNS therapeutics
• Drive problem framing and solution design to address major unmet needs across neurological diseases
• Collaborate with the team to validate assumptions and shape the company’s technical roadmap

Requirements

• Strong technical background with expertise relevant to CNS drug delivery and/or systemic delivery strategies
• Demonstrated ability to think entrepreneurially and operate with venture-building mindset
• Experience working at the intersection of science, product development, and execution
• Commitment to tackling high-impact, long-horizon challenges in neuroscience therapeutics
