About the Role
Under the direction of the CHRO, the Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations by handling employee relations, assisting with benefits administration, and completing confidential administrative tasks as assigned. This part-time role also serves as a key point of contact for employees, applicants, and visitors, providing guidance through HR policies, programs, and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide front desk and customer service support by answering phones, routing calls, and taking accurate messages
- Greet visitors, employees, and applicants with a friendly, professional presence
- Respond to employee and applicant questions and route inquiries as appropriate
- Assist management and staff with HR-related concerns by communicating, interpreting, and recommending appropriate use of HR policies and procedures
- Support employee relations activities and help maintain a positive workplace experience
- Assist with benefits administration tasks and related HR documentation
- Perform a variety of confidential administrative duties to support HR operations
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all customers
- Professional, tactful, and assertive demeanor when handling sensitive situations
- Ability to support employees and applicants with HR policy and program guidance
- Comfort working with confidential information and completing administrative tasks accurately
