Information Security Analyst (Level 1) | SOC Support | Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst (Level 1) to support day-to-day operations in our Security Operations Center (SOC) at our Jersey City location. In this role, you’ll monitor security tools, follow established processes, and help investigate potential issues to support timely remediation and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support by monitoring cyber defense platforms such as SIEM, DLP, CASB, and EDR
• Manage daily SOC operations during assigned shifts at the Jersey City office
• Execute predefined security workflows to ensure consistent handling of alerts and events
• Coordinate with other security team members to investigate and resolve reported issues
• Maintain smooth shift operations by addressing analyst and stakeholder questions in real time
• Research alerts, escalate potential threats, and support remediation or incident response in line with EXL processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or closely related field)
• Basic knowledge of information security (preferred)
