About the Role
Redwood Materials is building a localized battery supply chain that supports recovery, reuse, and recycling to keep critical minerals in circulation. In this Infrastructure Software Engineer role, you’ll design, build, and maintain the core platform infrastructure that helps our engineering teams develop and deploy Battery Energy Storage Systems reliably and at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate foundational infrastructure used to build, test, and deploy energy storage systems
- Partner with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, performance, and developer productivity
- Build scalable services and tooling that support large-scale engineering workflows
- Monitor systems in production, troubleshoot issues, and drive lasting improvements
- Contribute to infrastructure best practices, including security, observability, and automation
Requirements
- Experience designing and maintaining production infrastructure and platform services
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to build reliable systems
- Comfort working across the stack to support deployment, operations, and performance
- Proven troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on root-cause analysis
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver platform improvements
