About the Role
Bailey Education Group, LLC is seeking a Contract Literacy & Science of Reading Instructional Coach/Mentor Teacher to support schools across Georgia. In an onsite role, you’ll partner with educators to strengthen literacy instruction and improve student outcomes, with an emphasis on structured literacy practices and evidence-based strategies.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor teachers on effective literacy instruction aligned to the Science of Reading
- Support implementation of structured literacy practices across participating schools
- Collaborate with educators and instructional leaders to strengthen classroom practices
- Help identify instructional needs and support efforts to close achievement gaps
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Experience supporting literacy instruction and/or teacher coaching
- Strong understanding of the Science of Reading and structured literacy approaches
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and school teams
- Commitment to evidence-based instruction and measurable student growth
