About the Role
Centrifuge is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to support our Chief Legal Officer as we scale real-world finance and DeFi. In this role, you’ll help manage legal workflows across investor and issuer onboarding, due diligence, and contract negotiations—gaining hands-on experience at the intersection of traditional finance law and decentralized finance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with due diligence activities for investors and issuers
- Support onboarding processes and legal review for counterparties
- Help draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial and legal agreements
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate legal documentation
- Contribute to legal workflows and documentation standards as the platform grows
Requirements
- J.D. or equivalent legal qualification
- Strong interest in finance law and/or fintech and DeFi
- Experience reviewing contracts and supporting legal processes (internship or early-career experience is fine)
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with a remote, cross-functional team
