About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American legacy—electrifying and digitizing our vehicles while bringing American innovation to the road. We’re seeking a Lead, Engineering Fleet Operations to help advance how our fleet is managed, supported, and improved as Scout grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead fleet operations engineering efforts to support vehicle performance, uptime, and readiness across test and delivery activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and improve fleet processes and workflows.
- Analyze operational data and feedback to identify recurring issues and drive corrective actions.
- Support powertrain and vehicle integration work by ensuring fleet needs are met and lessons learned are shared.
- Own day-to-day coordination of fleet-related engineering activities, including tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in engineering operations, fleet operations, or a closely related role in automotive or connected vehicle environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational insights into actionable improvements.
- Comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work with technical teams on vehicle systems, diagnostics, and operational readiness.
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
