About the Role
Join NSL Operations as a Lead Technician supporting mixer dryer process equipment. You’ll troubleshoot and maintain reliable operation, collaborate with maintenance and engineering to improve performance, and help manage process waste streams in alignment with EHS requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support and reinforce environmental, health, and safety initiatives across daily operations
- Identify safety hazards, address unsafe conditions proactively, and follow all safety programs
- Adhere to SOPs and GMP requirements while coordinating work with Operations, Maintenance, and QA
- Troubleshoot mixer dryer equipment and partner with Engineering/Maintenance to resolve processing issues
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
- Assist with projects that improve working conditions and operability
- Manage inventory of operating supplies and support smooth equipment readiness
- Under the direction of the EHS Manager, help manage process waste streams and support proper disposal
Requirements
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting industrial process equipment
- Strong understanding of safety practices, SOPs, and GMP expectations
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, QA, Engineering)
- Competence in managing operational supplies and supporting equipment readiness
- Knowledge of EHS-aligned waste handling and disposal practices (or ability to learn quickly)
