About the Role
We’re seeking a licensed crisis counselor to provide timely, compassionate support to individuals in crisis. This fully remote role requires that you reside in North Carolina and hold the appropriate clinical licensure to practice in the state.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis calls and provide de-escalation and stabilization support
- Assess risk and needs, and help determine appropriate next steps
- Deliver evidence-informed crisis counseling and safety planning
- Coordinate with internal teams and follow established escalation procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with program and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Must reside in North Carolina
- Hold an active, relevant behavioral health license (as required by the role)
- Education requirement (one of the following):
- MSW, PsyD, or PhD in a behavioral health field
- OR M.A./M.S. in a behavioral health field with a clinical practice emphasis from a COAMFTE, CACREP, or CORE-accredited program
