About the Role
Join ELMHS in Jackson, Louisiana as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1 (WAE). In this role within the Nursing Department, you will support adults receiving mental health evaluation and treatment across a variety of inpatient and residential programs.
Responsibilities
- Administer and accurately document medications and treatments
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team
- Implement physician orders and assist with ongoing medical care
- Provide support in medical and nursing care activities
- Supervise and coordinate with support staff as needed
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure in Louisiana
- Experience in clinical documentation and medication administration
- Strong observational and communication skills for patient status reporting
- Ability to follow care plans and physician orders with accuracy
