About the Role
ELMHS is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 2 (WAE) to support the Nursing Department in Jackson, Louisiana. In this role, you will help deliver safe, compassionate care for adults receiving mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation across multiple program settings.
Responsibilities
- Administer and document medications and treatments in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor patient condition and report relevant changes to the care team
- Implement physician orders and assist with coordination of medical care
- Support daily nursing operations and help maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Provide supervision and guidance to support staff as assigned
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
- Experience in clinical documentation and medication administration
- Ability to monitor patient status and communicate effectively with providers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
