About the Role
Join ELMHS in the Nursing Department as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 3. This role supports adult mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation across inpatient, residential, jail-based, and aftercare programs.
Responsibilities
- Administer and accurately document medications and prescribed treatments
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team
- Carry out physician orders and help ensure care plans are followed
- Assist with routine medical care as directed by clinical leadership
- Support day-to-day nursing operations, including supervision of appropriate support staff
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure in Louisiana
- Experience in medication administration and documentation
- Strong observation and communication skills for patient status updates
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and physician orders
