About the Role
FWG Solutions is seeking a Machinist to support the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program. This role is part of the LCAC 100 Program and will be based on-site to perform hands-on machining and refurbishment work in support of operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Perform machining, refurbishment, and precision repair tasks for LCAC ACV components
- Carry out dimensional inspection to verify part specifications and tolerances
- Support operational testing as needed to confirm proper function and performance
- Maintain quality and workmanship standards aligned with organizational certifications and delivery practices
Requirements
- Experience as a machinist performing precision machining and repairs
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Demonstrated attention to detail for dimensional inspection and quality verification
- Ability to work on-base in support of Navy program requirements
