About the Role
Join Microsoft Quantum’s Cryomechanical and Packaging team to help enable the hardware roadmap. You’ll design and support cryogenic mechanical systems, packaging solutions, and laboratory infrastructure that make reliable experimentation and scalable system integration possible.
Responsibilities
- Design cryomechanical components and assemblies for cryogenic environments
- Support integration of mechanical systems with broader hardware and packaging efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition designs from research concepts to producible hardware
- Help sustain and improve laboratory and system infrastructure used for experimentation
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical design for complex hardware systems
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability and integration
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, iterative engineering environment
